Simon Park, Ph.D.
Chief Executive Officer
With over 10 years of teaching chemistry as a teaching fellow and an Associate Instructor of chemistry at University of California, Davis, Simon co-founded Synses Designs and oversees project development and research to provide accessible resources to help blind and visually impaired students learn STEM.
Dr. Simon Park is currently a Postdoctoral Fellow at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center, Harvard Medical School and the Wyss Institute for Biologically Inspired Engineering at Harvard University.
Chief Operating Officer
As a student instructor, Diane has taught the chemical and biological sciences to over 200 students in primary, secondary, and higher education. She developed a university-level course and mentored junior scientists who now hold leadership positions across the globe. In addition to teaching and mentorship, she has previously served on the executive board of local non-profit organizations and scientific journals. She co-founded Synses Designs and oversees operations.
Dr. Diane Park is currently an Instructor at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center, Harvard Medical School and the Wyss Institute for Biologically Inspired Engineering at Harvard University.
Designer
Trained as an Artist with emphasis in Photography, Max brings aesthetic value in STEM design and teaching. Having served as a gallery director and a medical illustrator, Max manages product and web design.
Max Schwartz is currently a MD Candidate at Medical School for International Health (MSIH), Ben-Gurion University of the Negev.
Engineer
Kevin has a passion for 3D printing and designing products that make a positive impact in people's lives. With over 13 years of experience in CAD and 3D printing, he founded MakingSTEM, a weekly creative engineering program designed to provide a hands-on learning experience in STEM education for 6-12 graders.
Advisor
Tim Fleschner
Tim is a Co-Founder at Eone (acquired June 2020). He helped prototype and bring to market the first universally designed wristwatch, the Bradley timepiece. Developed in collaboration with individuals who are blind, the Bradley features raised hour markers and magnetized ball bearings that allow you to tell time by touch. Investors include Marc Benioff (CEO, Salesforce) and Paul Polman (former CEO, Unilever).
Tim has a special interest in entrepreneurship and currently serves as a mentor for Harvard Innovation Labs and Techstars.
